Is Your Body Longing For Simple, Natural and Effective Pain Relief?
Let me tell you why I’ve been searching for Simple, Natural and Effective Pain Relief …
Last Year my dad, who is 78, went to hospital for a Quadruple Heart Bypass. He got through the operation, came home, and spent many months recuperating, walking and attending physiotherapy to return to what he was hoping to be ‘better than ever’ health
He is, of course taking a selection of drugs, including Warfarin, which means the doctors will not prescribe him the drug to help with the pain from his Arthritis. He is allowed Paracetamol for the pain – but he is not keen on them – (and neither am I!)
I hate to see him suffering from pain – and said to myself a couple of months ago, that I must find something to help him.
I am not a lover of drugs or medications, unless they are natural, and contain no man-made chemicals, so I’ve been looking for a simple, natural and effective way to reduce pain …
and now I’ve found it!
What is Pain?
from Wikipedia ….
Pain is an unpleasant feeling often caused by intense or damaging stimuli, such as stubbing a toe, burning a finger, putting alcohol on a cut, and bumping the “funny bone“. The International Association for the Study of Pain‘s widely used definition states: “Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage, or described in terms of such damage.”
Pain motivates the individual to withdraw from damaging situations, to protect a damaged body part while it heals, and to avoid similar experiences in the future. Most pain resolves promptly once the painful stimulus is removed and the body has healed, but sometimes pain persists despite removal of the stimulus and apparent healing of the body; and sometimes pain arises in the absence of any detectable stimulus, damage or disease.
Pain is the most common reason for physician consultation in the United States. It is a major symptom in many medical conditions, and can significantly interfere with a person’s quality of life and general functioning. Psychological factors such as social support, hypnotic suggestion, excitement, or distraction can significantly modulate pain’s intensity or unpleasantness.
Pain is all consuming when you have it, and how it wears down the body and spirit. How did people cope?
Some amazing people have done, Cole Porter comes to mind, who suffered a riding accident in his 40’s and worked through perpetual pain for the rest of his life.
